Step into the Roaring Twenties with The Great Gatsby, Broadway’s dazzling new musical adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s iconic novel. This dazzling production captures the essence of New York City’s Jazz Age and tells the love story of the enigmatic millionaire Jay Gatsby and his passion for Daisy Buchanan. A jazz-infused score, extravagant dance numbers, and a star-studded cast make The Great Gatsby a must see show on Broadway!

 

Directed by Marc Bruni with choreography by Dominique Kelley, The Great Gatsby features a book by Kait Kerrigan, music by Jason Howland, and lyrics by Nathan Tyson. With sets by Paul Tate dePoo III, costumes by Linda Cho, lighting by Cory Pattak, and sound by Brian Ronan, the theater is transformed into the glamorous 1920s and the audience is transported back in time to this extravagant era.

The production stars Jeremy Jordan as Jay Gatsby and Eva Noblezada as Daisy Buchanan, with Noah J. Ricketts as Nick Carraway and Samantha Pauly as Jordan Baker.

When is the Broadway Theatre Box Office Open? 
The Broadway Theatre box office is open Monday through Saturday from 10AM to 8PM, and Sunday from 12PM to 6PM. Buying a ticket to see The Great Gatsby on Broadway directly from the box office will save you from the additional online fees! 

Did The Great Gatsby win any awards?
The Great Gatsby won the Tony Award for Best Costume Design of a Musical for Linda Cho. At the Outer Critics Circle Awards, The Great Gatsby was nominated for four awards including Outstanding New Broadway Musical and won two, Outstanding Scenic Design for Paul Tate dePoo III, and Outstanding Costume Design for Linda Cho. For her performance as Daisy Buchanan, Eva Noblezada received a Distinguished Performance nomination at the 2024 Drama League Awards.

Based on one of the greatest American novels, The Great Gatsby received its world premiere in October 2023 at the Paper Mill Playhouse in New Jersey and played through November 2023. The production was directed by Marc Bruni and choreographed by Dominique Kelly and starred Jeremy Jordan as Jay Gatsby, Eva Noblezada as Daisy Buchanan, Noah J. Ricketts as Nick Carraway, Samantha Pauly as Jordan Baker, Sara Chase as Myrtle Wilson and Stanley Wayne Mathis as Myer Wolfsheim. 

 

The Paper Mill production transferred to the Broadway Theatre in New York City and officially opened on April 25, 2024. Jordan, Noblezada, Ricketts, Chase and Pauly reprised their roles with Eric Anderson joining the cast as Wolfsheim.
